We designed the MagFlip hood so you no longer had to choose between using a filter and rigging out your Fuji X100 with an aesthetic hood. The brass base threads directly onto the camera, and we've added built-in threads for 49mm filters—no filter adapter needed. Once it's set, the hood flips down, making it easy to adjust polarization or change stop values on your VND for dragging the shutter. Plus, it comes with a metal front defender plate to keep your lens protected when you're not shooting.

To make shooting all day more comfortable, we also created the BaseGrip and ThumbGrip. These add a little more comfort for those longer shoot days and some give some extra bumper protection for your camera body.

Is the Soft Shutter a standard size?

Yes, it will work with any camera with a female thread on the shutter button.

What filters does MagFlip work with?

PolarPro's Full line of 49mm CPs, ShortStache, or VNDs.

What does a hood do and how does it attach to my lens?

Mainly adds aesthetic styling and protection to your system and attached directly threads onto the outer section of the lens. The Base of the hood has 49mm filter threads built in.

How does the BaseGrip Mount to the Camera?

The Bottom has a 1/4-20 which threads into the base of the Fujifilm X100 Series Cameras.

Is there a 1/4-20 on the bottom of the BaseGrip?

Yes, in addition to the landscape arca tripod mounting point built into the BaseGrip.
